This learning tool allows large groups of people to engage in a dialogue on personal financial management. FLIR is set up in five stations which participants visit in groups of up to 15 people, with every station focusing on one core financial literacy topic. That way, groups of up to 75 participants can learn simultaneously about financial literacy. Developed for the Ugandan market, its pictures and visual aids are based on real life situations of Ugandan communities. Facilitators ensure that the topics addressed in each station of the FLIR are relevant to the target group and rooted in situations that are familiar to the participants.
